  • Chocolate Orange Bliss Balls

    Chocolate Orange Bliss balls are both delicious and super easy to make, double whammy!

    These make a perfect healthy, dairy free, vegan, raw and refined sugar free snack!

    Absolute winner!

     

    Ingredients:

    • 1 Cup of Almonds or Cashews (150g)
    • 3/4 Cup of Dates (110g)
    • 2 Tablespoons of Cacao Powder
    • 1 Medium Orange

    Method:

    Preheat the oven to 180’C. Add the dates to a bowl and pour boiling water over them and leave them to soak.

    Add the nuts to a roasting and roast at 180’C for about 8 minutes until golden.

    Add the roasted nuts to your food processor and blend until fine. Add in the cacao powder and blend to combine.

    Drain the dates and add them to your food processor. Zest the orange and add the zest to the food processor and squeeze in 2 tablespoons of juice from the orange. Blend for about 20 seconds until you have a sticky mixture.

    Roll the mixture into balls. Store them in the fridge, they should keep perfectly for about a week.
