I have been a midwife for 11 years and I have worked in all areas, hospital, community and birth centre. I have spent time working abroad with the Royal College of Midwives in Cambodia, teaching and developing midwifery guidance, which was an incredible experience. I have also worked in Kenya developing safe midwifery practice.
I have a masters degree in midwifery through Sheffield uni, I am also a mentor and have a family planning qualification.
My passion lies with community midwifery led care and I currently work in the community covering the Wadebridge area.
Along with Lizzie I will be taking you through sessions 1 and 2 of this fantastic antenatal course, making sure you are fully prepared and confident for your birth and beyond. Get in contact with Laura now to book on, and I look forward to meeting you!
(**Alli was Laura and Sam’s midwife for both pregnancies and delivered their first, Alfie, at Treliske in 2012!)
